Im new to New York (about 3 weeks since leaving London) so Im totally lost in terms of good places to go not only bars/restaurants etc but also where to get a decent haricut/manicure etc all the essentials for a busy New Yorker! Im definately going to check out Spa Belles and even drag along my 'far too macho to have a manicure' boyfriend! Any suggestions on the meatpacking district? I heard it was the place to go at the weekend?

Etsy is a Cooler Version of Ebay

If you are sick of sorting through all the junk and mislabled stuff on Ebay, check out www.etsy.com. Most things are one of a kind and hand made. You can find everything from jewelry to t-shirts to art on there. You can search by category, geographical location and even by colour (this is my favourite search because you can quickly find a variety of matching tops for that lime green skirt that goes with nothing in your closet). They now have a cool new feature that allows same time viewing so you can shop with a friend! Check it out.
