Im new to New York (about 3 weeks since leaving London) so Im totally lost in terms of good places to go not only bars/restaurants etc but also where to get a decent haricut/manicure etc all the essentials for a busy New Yorker! Im definately going to check out Spa Belles and even drag along my 'far too macho to have a manicure' boyfriend! Any suggestions on the meatpacking district? Straight silky hair in five minutes. Babyliss is the way to go. Other cheaper brands take ages to dry my hair and when I'm finished I never look 'done' like I do when I've just had my hair professionally blown out...I'm sure many of you can sympathize. With the Babyliss ionic hair dryer, you should be prepared to spend a bit more but think of it as an investment in fabulous hair!

I have to disagree ... T3 Touberline is the best - faster drying time, ionic that actually works and no need to Chi aka flat iron after! (though it is not a cheap venture)
