Im definately going to check out Spa Belles and even drag along my 'far too macho to have a manicure' boyfriend! Any suggestions on the meatpacking district? GRUPS

What is a Grup?

"He owns eleven pairs of sneakers, hasn’t worn anything but jeans in a year, and won’t shut up about the latest Death Cab for Cutie CD. But he is no kid. He is among the ascendant breed of grown-up who has redefined adulthood as we once knew it and killed off the generation gap."

This is an excerpt from Adam Sternbergh's article in this week's issue of New York Magazine. It is very funny and really resonated.  Maybe they work in your office or perhaps they are in your spinning class. The fact is, everyone knows at least a few Grups. I have personally found it really hard to distinguish a 40 year-old Grup from a 22 year-old college student. I'm glad I know what to call these creatures now! It also bodes well for those of you who are middle aged and just don't want to 'act your age'.Check the article out here.
