Im new to New York (about 3 weeks since leaving London) so Im totally lost in terms of good places to go not only bars/restaurants etc but also where to get a decent haricut/manicure etc all the essentials for a busy New Yorker! Im definately going to check out Spa Belles and even drag along my 'far too macho to have a manicure' boyfriend! Any suggestions on the meatpacking district? I heard it was the place to go at the weekend?

Mark Peros - Fashion Editor

1090955_img2_2 Born and raised in Toronto, Mark Peros discovered his talent for fashion design at Ryerson University's Fashion and Design Program. After graduating, in 2001 his career began when he opened the Peros Studios which manufactures and designs garments for all levels of the industry. Currently, the business does work for six other lines of clothing but the heart of the business is the Peros label which is a contemporary line of novelty cocktail dresses geared towards a confident, active and professional woman. Peros enjoys a strong following in Toronto and has successfullly established himself in New York City.

Peros' interests are not limited to fashion design. He plays golf, tennis, rugby, ultimate frisbee and is a member of the Canadian Fencing team. He represents Canada at numerous competitions around the world.
