Great tips! Im new to New York (about 3 weeks since leaving London) so Im totally lost in terms of good places to go not only bars/restaurants etc but also where to get a decent haricut/manicure etc all the essentials for a busy New Yorker! Im definately going to check out Spa Belles and even drag along my 'far too macho to have a manicure' boyfriend! Any suggestions on the meatpacking district? I heard it was the place to go at the weekend?

Bermuda Shorts

Some tips on how to wear the Bermuda Short from Elle Magazine:

* Bermudas are a great way to hide saddlebags (see BCBG models above)

* Avoid Bermudas if your legs are thin (see Ellie Tahari models above)

* Choose styles in white, khaki, brown or navy (see M Missoni models above)

* Can be worn at the office with a white shirt and a blazer (see Nanette Lepore above)

* For a night out, wear a pair in shiny silk with a delicate top and platform sandals. (see Sean by Sean Combs above)
