This is my favorite look for spring. I love the slouchy pants that will work with high boots when fall comes (apparantly the skinny jean is on its way out, out, out!), love the top and love the jacket. Most of all, Iove the shoes. I'm off to go shopping!

1. Bold Prints - Graphic statements mixing vivid african motifs and oversize blooms. Tropical palm trees, ethnic designs, classic rose florals are colorful with dramtic flare. See the Dolce and Gabana dress to the left.
2. The Pant Suit - Both pin-thin and slouchy a tailored pant suit is the way to go for power- dressing . Even think of a bloero and cropped pant for the weekend.

4. Shirtdressing - The shirtdress comes in many guises this season - double breasted, buttons and seams askew, belted, tuxedo style. Try sleeveless or roll up the sleeves to the elbows.

Every time I see a picture of Audrey Hepburn or Jackie O, I'm reminded that true style transcends time. Here are some timeless classics that you can come back to time and again when you're wondering what to wear:
* Crisp white shirts * Trenchcoats * Black turtlenecks * Diamond studs * Cashmere sweaters * Glossy calfskin bags * Blazers in neutral colours * Black pantsuits * Pearls * Cuff bracelets *
If you want to skimp on how much you spend then follow these rules:
* Be fabric-savvy. Knits, microfibers and cotton-Lycra blends resist wrinkles, repel stains and save on dry-cleaning bills.
* Remember that less expensive fabrics look better in neutral shades like black and beige than in brights and pastels.
* Buy items in solid colors - you can get away with wearing them more often than items in arresting 
patterns.
* Avoid costly mistakes: Finding flattering pants can be a challenge, so if you find good ones, buy several pairs.
* Don't store clothes in dry cleaner's plastic bags; they trap moisture and solvent fumes.
